Any thoughts on who the overhyped players that will under perform this season?
I am hearing conversations about Jonathan Taylor being David Johnson 2.0

Jonatha Taylor killed me last year. He played dinged all year and his O line sucked. He should improve with health this year. Has his O line gotten any better? I don't think he'll ever again see the numbers he put up two years ago.

And I think the whole Denver offense is a big watch out. Can Sean Payton really rehab a vet like Russell Wilson gone bad? I doubt it. Maybe there is some value in their running game. Who would that be?

Taylor is a stud and nothing close to Johnson. Dude is built. Runs 4.3. Great hands. True 3 down back. Whoever said he is DJ 2.0 is a goof. One of the best RB prospects I’ve seen come out past few years.

Rule of thumb going back to late 90’s was 5 of 10 top RB would underperform. Injuries or whatever. Good place is to pivot off them and reach for other RB

Jevonte Williams back at running back for Denver...very good, but coming off a season ending injury. I don't trust the Denver offense at all.
There are quite a few formerly reliable running backs who are hitting the age window of a big drop off. I think 26 is a reasonable "jump the shark" age for those who have played since their rookie season. That means possible regression for CMC, Ekeler, Chubb, Barkley, *Pollard, Mixon, Aaron Jones, Henry, Sanders, Kamara, Conner, Mongomery, Cook, *Jamal Williams, Elliott, Fournette. I starred a couple guys who had very light early-year workloads.

There are quite a few guys on the list who underperformed last year and just about all would have been Top 20 RB fantasy players.

I think Gibbs is going to let tons of people down.

Being taken in the 3rd round in best ball drafts
Not sure he is going to get the overall volume to pay for his expensise pricetag

That is a good point. Swift played that role last year and he was not a great fantasy value. I think St Brown has the best value on the Lions.

Any thoughts on Jones & Dillon in GB?
Dillon is in a position to break out. Especially if Jones got hurt

But either way he still sees the field in 2 back sets with Jones. A handful to bring down. He has potential for 14 td just with all goal line work. Similar to a Williams and lions role last year.

Way more value in Dillon via draft position vs Jones imo.

I for my part will stay clear of holdouts like Taylor or Jacobs. Feels like these players holding out all preseason end up being not in top shape and underperforming and more often than not hurt & missing time
